Founder Brief

💡 all value creation is downstream of culture. -CEO of palantir

I shared that quote w/ the team in an internal message this month, and have been thinking a lot about our culture and the standard we are setting.

Just last week I ran into two RISR investors having lunch together, and the first thing one of them said to me was “people love your updates!” — I thought a lot about that over the next couple of days.

• First, it’s hard not to get emotional thinking about the fact that each and everyone of you wrote us check so that we get to do this. The least we can do is tell you how it’s going every 30 days 🙂
• But more importantly — what I thought was; they don’t like my updates. They like the RISR updates, and the RISR updates are carefully crafted and curated by the entire team. When they were “my” updates they were in a word doc with poor writing / articulation; today they are in this beautiful format with clear visibility across all areas of the business.
