Founder Brief
Speed is often a strategy in and of itself. So those who run faster will win over time. I read that this week and it resonated. We value speed deeply, and it is showing up all over the business today. From product development, to engineering + implementation, to customer success and sales.
@Dan Wilson had a record month of individual advisor bookings w/ over $50k booked. I shared with the team the great Ken Griffin quote “if we are all gonna eat, someone’s gotta sell” . This is no small feat when you think about our stage and it’s great to see the year get off to such a hot start on that front.
Back to speed, I will share a couple of examples of just how fast we are moving:
- We closed Allworth ($35b RIA) on a $15k/year firm license in one call
- Last month we shared a prototype of a look-a-like business feature we were exploring/testing. We got feedback, we debated, and we killed it. Sometimes it’s the features you don’t develop
- On the flip side, this month we shipped major enhancements to the doc processor, have built several new prototypes (more in the product dev section on this from @Alex Michaels) that we have conviction on — moreover, we have three big bets that we will ship in the next 90 days that will
- deliver a ton of value to our existing clients
- allow us to consider additional pricing bands
- expand our market dramatically
